Google testing its new service 'Play Pass' app and game subscription
Earlier , Apple announced its monthly subscription service "Apple Arcade", that gives access to its customers with a library of mobile games (including some exclusive titles) on iOS devices. Apple Arcade isn't published yet, but Google is already testing its own service "Play Pass"with similar kind of features which may be a competitor for "Apple Arcade".
There were some reports that, Google was working on the Play Pass service, but now it's confirmed that company has already started testing it.Below screenshots for the "Play Pass" shows the signup page for Play Pass and the subscription pplan is $4.99/month.Very Likely the price could change before the final rollout of the service.
With this service, android customers can enjoy some exclusive and premium services of android .May it be action, puzzles or fitness trackers, with Google Play Pass you unlock access to hundreds of premium apps and games without ads, download fees or in-app purchases.
Google officials confirmed on the report that , Play Pass is currently being tested. It quite interesting to see how Play Pass going to compete with Apple Arcade. and whether this would be viable on Android in long run.Since iPhone owners spend far more money on apps than Android users.It's to be watched out in future.
